Al Lisan al ‘Arabi  covers issues pertaining to the Arabic language, its grammar and linguistics. The periodical which has been published by the Arab League’s Bureau for Arabization (based in Rabat, Morocco) for more than fifty years now, also deals with Arabic lexicography and its methodology. Since the first issue appeared in 1964, this publication has been internationally recognized as the leading journal in its field.
